ARTventures Await!

Grab your passport and pack your bags for an epic art adventure around the globe! This semester, Mrs. Laura Henson’s ARTventurers explored the vibrant world of diverse art and artists as they soaked in breathtaking sights from around the world and taste-tested authentic imported treats from each destination. First, they visited Spain to learn about and make watercolor paint and oil pastel papel picados and serapes and try Galletas Maria cookies. Next, they traveled to Germany to paint the Neuschwanstein fairytale castle and beautiful Bavarian Alps and try Spekulatius Spiced Cookies. Then, they stopped at Cairo, Egypt, to sculpt clay mummies and craft mixed-media sarcophaguses. Last, they dropped by Paris, France, to create golden Eiffel Tower scratch art and try French macarons.
