Marshall County Showcase of Art
County-wide displays featuring the visual art works of our local artists.

Recognition of Outstanding M.C. Artist, Teacher & Citizen
Recipients are awarded a framed MCAC signature print created by Johnnie Davis, a local photo artist.

Marshall Co. Family Week
Provide activities for children for “Fun Day at the Park”.

Music Instrument Petting Zoo
Hands-on experience with several different music instruments and available to schools on request at no cost to students.

Community Christmas Celebration
Annual celebration held at the Performing Arts Center is an annual benefit for the Marshall County Exceptional Center and presented at no cost to public. Free-will contributions are requested and presented directly to the Exceptional Center.

SmART Camp (Summer Morning Art Camp)
(Brooks; Wynn;Tynes;) - this two-week Summer Camp is for students in grades 3-8. Production costs partially funded with participant fees.

M.C. Children’s Chorus
Music & instruction are available to all Marshall Co. students in grades 3–8 with semester fees.


M.C. Children’s Theatre
The Children’s Theatre was launched in the fall of 2009 as a result of a community survey that revealed considerable interest for this activity. Theatre is offered with semester fees to students in grades 3-8.

Authentic Kentucky
Observed between Tater Day and Big Singing and emphasizes people, programs & activities that are “Authentic Kentucky”. Ex. Juried Art Show, Race to the Finish, performances by Children’s Theatre & Children’s Chorus, Major artist event.

Spring Juried Art Show – Located at Ky. Dam Village and free to the public.
The juried art showcase attracts the very talented visual artists in our area. Performances are also presented by the Children’s Chorus and Children’s Theatre.

Summer Band Camp

Two week morning camp for middle school band students.

 

Youth on Stage

Two week summer camp for 7th-12 grade musical, drama, dance performance and also yearly performance on Wednesday afternoons.

 

American Girl Summer Camp

Week camp for young girls who enjoy the American Girl experience.
